Information Technology Manager

Responsible for managing all IT-related assets that make up the PSI IT infrastructure. Responsible for managing company computers, servers, software systems, and security systems. Work directly with all departments within the PSI corporate headquarters to help identify inefficiencies in business processes and to also ensure business processes can be streamlined by leveraging technology systems. Provide IT subject matter expertise and technical approaches to help identify problems and engineer solutions. Responsible for developing, implementing, and managing corporate technology programs.

Information Technology Specialist

Planned, designed, and built the PSI information technology infrastructure. Built an array of web, email, and database servers to support the growth of the companies IT needs. Provided technical support to the corporate staff members, provided forensic support for security investigations, provided support for disaster recovery efforts and network penetration testing. Assisted in technical write-ups to Request for Proposal’s (RFP’s) on potential contracts. Made suggestions to employees and management about IT-related topics. Gave feedback on new and emerging technologies and kept staff informed of any new threats associated with IT security.

Network Systems Engineer

Responsible for engineering and supporting all Berkeley County public school information systems. Configured, installed, managed, and repaired computer and network systems that existed on the West Virginia public school systems private ACCESS network. Worked closely with Berkeley County School's network engineering team to solve routing problems that would occur during infrastructure upgrades. Worked with school officials in developing disaster recovery and contingency plans for the Information Systems infrastructure.

Provided planning and operations support to programs that supported commercial contracts. Part of a team who engineered specialized hardware and software systems for automated computing environments and physical security systems. Worked with clients to understand specialized computing needs and assisted in developing customized hardware and software solutions. Managed and supported a web hosting server farm that included automation databases, e-commerce sites, and email services. Deployed Windows Server migrations to local private school systems. Designed and deployed a complex wireless mesh network for wireless connectivity at the Square in downtown Hagerstown, MD.
