Senior Staff


President and CEO

Mr. Hedman is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of PSI. Mr. Hedman determines and sets strategic goals for company focus and growth, develops innovative and competitive costing approaches to increase revenue and growth, and ensures the overall financial integrity of PSI.

Mr. Hedman has over 25 years experience in the fields of security and law enforcement, focusing on Protective Force Management, Training Development, Planning, and Assessments. During his career, he has served in several senior executive management positions and has been responsible for leading and overseeing divisional vice-presidents and their respective programs. Mr. Hedman provides technical direction to corporate executives on the development and implementation of programs to maximize effectiveness of personnel and resources at each contract. Throughout his professional career, Mr. Hedman has served in project management positions for various prestigious security services contracts nationally.

Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Rogers has over 35 years of experience in a variety of national security operations to include vulnerability analyses, risk management, strategic planning, security force evaluation and management, emergency management exercises and drills, information security, training, inspections and surveys, physical security systems, project management, and business management and development.

He is a noted expert within the Department of Energy on Protection Program Management and Physical Security Systems Management.

As the Chief Operating Officer for PSI, Mr. Rogers is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the company. Additionally, Mr. Rogers is responsible for the strategic, tactical, and short-term operations and management planning of the corporation. In this capacity Mr. Rogers assures the quality development, design, operation and improvement of the corporate systems that guarantee the timely delivery of critical services provided by PSI. Mr. Rogers provides corporate program oversight to all of PSI’s national security contracts.

Senior Vice President

Entrepreneurial executive that is high-energy, results-oriented and customer service oriented, with a track record of success with experience building profitable models and high-performing teams to capture business in the defense, security and private sectors. Experienced in multiple disciplines of the security industry as a service provider, consultant, program, and project manager, contract administrator and negotiator.

Decisive, resourceful and innovative, with demonstrated success at extrapolating information and developing and implementing original ideas. A learned and proven leader who combines a strong sense of core-values while encouraging others opinions and ideas. Confident in his convictions and a demonstrated past performance record of personal and professional integrity.

Over twenty three combine years of active duty and reserve military experience including tactical and strategic level experience in counterintelligence and tactical operations, as well as managing complex programs, projects supporting up to 250 personnel, and safeguarding intellectual property. Highly experienced in strategic business planning, personnel management, technical research and Business Development, Leadership, Strategy, Financial Accountability, Customer Relations, Contract Negotiations, Program Management, Development of Corporate Infrastructure, Continuity Of Operations (COOP), Intelligence, Counterintelligence (CI), Counter-Terrorism (CT), Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (FP/AT), Human Intelligence (HUMINT), Vulnerability and Threat Assessment (VA), Personnel Security Management, and Protective Force Operations.

Vice President of Field Operations

Mr. Beaty is directly responsible for the oversight of the DOE Security Technology Evaluation and Integration which includes the Security Technology Information Archive (STIA) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory; interface with the Technology Deployment and Integration Center (TDIC) at the Nevada Test Site; and the field execution of the vulnerability/risk assessment efforts for the Department.

Mr. Beaty has over 27 years experience in the Department of Energy (DOE) as a security specialist and protective force manager. As the Senior Manager, Security Systems and Assessments, Mr. Beaty has directly supported the DOE Health, Safety and Security (HSS) Office of Technology, in identifying, evaluating, and deploying critical security technologies in support of the nation’s most critical assets.

Vice President, Special Projects and International Operations

Mr. Kelly has over 30 years experience as an international security operations consultant in senior Government intelligence and security positions, and in the military in planning and directing intelligence, special purpose forces, and security-related operations, assessing threats to critical infrastructure operations, facilities, and personnel, and developing countervailing plans, training, and procedures for security forces and security managers/planners. Mr. Kelly was commended for special operations direction in combat during Desert Storm and in Vietnam: anti/counter-terrorism training programs and doctrine development in the military (US and overseas) and for the US Department of Energy; planning and directing counterterrorism and counternarcotics operations; and negotiating interagency and international support agreements.

Principal Associate

Mr. Sanborn has over 25 years experience in the areas of Business Development and Contract Management, Risk Management Program Development, Business Operations Management, Probabilistic Vulnerability and Risk Analyses, and Information and Infrastructure Protection Program Development. Mr. Sanborn also has vast experience in Physical Security and Protective Force Operations, Weapons of Mass Destruction, Emergency and Contingency Planning and Operations, Training Program Development and Administration and Compliance and QA Surveys and Assessments.

Chief Financial Officer and Controller

Mr. Lux is responsible for the finance and planning of PSI’s operation. In particular, he oversees the treasury, tax, risk management, accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis. He works closely with operating units to ensure financial performance objectives are achieved and directs development of annual and long-range business plans.

Mr. Lux is a seasoned executive with over 35 years of experience in companies ranging from small privately held firms to large publicly-traded multi-national corporations and government contracting firms. Prior to joining PSI in September 2007, Dave was Chief Financial Officer and Controller of two management and governmental consulting firms, Development Associates, Inc. and Planning and Learning Technologies, Inc.

Dave holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and finance from Florida International University.

General Counsel

Mr. Henderson is the General Counsel for PSI. In this position, Henderson serves as the legal adviser to PSI on all matters affecting the company’s activities. 

Prior to joining PSI, Henderson was employed at Sprint Nextel where he worked closely with in-house counsel advising, and negotiating externally, on enterprise contractual matters including network engineering and software licensing, intellectual property, treasury and payment processing, enterprise real estate, sales, marketing and consulting engagements. Previous to Sprint, Henderson was a contracts advisor at Partners Healthcare Systems, where he was involved with contract drafting and strategy of the pay-for-performance agreements between the hospitals and national insurers.

Before his role in enterprise contracts, Henderson was engaged in private legal practice of law. He was an associate at two law firms in Boston, Massachusetts, where his primary area of practice focused on real estate contracts and transactions in which he represented banks and commercial lenders. Prior to private practice, Henderson worked as an associate deputy in the General Counsel’s office of a telecommunications firm in the Boston area. In that role, he was responsible for review of commercial agreements as well as regulatory research and drafts for submission to the FCC and the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Energy.

Information Technology Manager

Mr. House plans, designs, and manages the PSI information technology (IT) infrastructure. He is PSI’s IT subject matter expert who oversees corporate technology programs and is responsible for managing the companies IT assets. He has a diverse background in telecommunications, network engineering, network security, systems engineering, database engineering, web programming and graphic design. Prior to joining PSI in December 2005, Mr. House held several network engineering and management positions for both commercial and state government industries. Mr. House is a Microsoft Certified Professional and a SANS GIAC certification holder. Gary holds a bachelor’s degree in computer studies and a project management for IT certification from the University of Maryland, an associate’s degree in computer networking from Hagerstown Community College, and he has achieved many other industry standard certifications from Comptia and Microsoft.
