Provide technical support for computer security program oversight. Analyze computer data protection plans for the protection of sensitive information (OUO, UCNI and classified). Assess the protection in place and planed protection strategies for on-Site and off-Site data processing activities. Effectiveness testing of firewalls, routers and Internet service providers and Intranet security measures.
Operations and Communications Security (OPSEC & COMSEC) programs analysis. Validation and verification of implementation of the directives governing the protection of classified and unclassified assets from unauthorized disclosure. Analysis of the effective implementation of an acceptable counterimagery program. Verification and validation of effective program implementation.
Identify, research, and analyze technical and administrative safeguards and security issues for policy resolution and implementation. Review and clarify variance requests to identify potential Environmental Management impacts, and options to address them.
