Protection Strategies Incorporated (PSI), identical to our INL training contract in Latin America, PSI provides training and technical assistance for law enforcement and counter narcotics programs in Mexico. The Department of State has very extensive and comprehensive ongoing training programs throughout the region designed to assist in the development and training of foreign Law Enforcement entities, to include local, state and federal police.

Working through the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, PSI provides training programs that include but are not limited to:

• Evidence collection and preservation
• Fingerprinting
• Polygraph operation
• Crime scene preservation
• Use of force
• Use of deadly force
• Mechanics of arrest/cuffing procedures

All instructors are former members of US or Mexican law enforcement agencies, who have come by their expertise both from formal training and from years of practical application on the street.
