In support of the Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Cooperative Border Security Program, Protection Strategies Incorporated performs Area Studies and Country Evaluations, and develops Country Engagement Plans for the various countries to assist them in documenting the threats to and current state of effectiveness of their border security control systems. Evaluations may reveal weaknesses and provide opportunities for improvements in equipment, personnel, training and procedures.

The services that PSI provides to the NNSA’s Cooperative Border Security Program help to strengthen border control system in partnering countries, thus supporting global nonproliferation, anti-terrorism and counterterrorism efforts.
